"I am absolutely appalled by the service. They charged me $50 for a shampoo. I did not have a style and I left the store with my hair dripping wet. They also charged this outrageous fee to my 12 year old daughter who wanted to surprise me. I am awaiting JCP manager feedback, I hope this can be resolved. Follow up: I did call the number as advised. I was informed that I had to wait 3-5 business days to follow up. I am incredibly disappointed in this lackluster customer service.JCP can and should do better."

"I feel as though I was ripped off. My daughter does have a lot of long hair but I paid for a wash, dry, detangle and simple bun. I asked the stylist prior to her doing her hair, and while she was doing it if she could do her edges like the pic and when she asked what I thought and I told her the edges weren’t right if she could do it, again she said yes. It took hours which was fine but it was messed up because the bun was very loose by the time we got to the front of the store. It was not like I asked, and I politely told the stylist it wasn’t what I wanted. I also found later that she never washed my daughter hair only sprayed it wet which is why it took so long. I took her hair down and redid it when we got home. I wanted to like it. I left a $2 tip even though it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. After the stylist response I should have left nothing of a tip. I can honestly say I will not be back. I have never felt buyers remorse but this was one of those times. $57 for a 4 year old bun. NEVER AGAIN!"

"I never expected to be able to get bright, fun colors and quality master stylist service at a department store salon. I was so wrong! I’ve been going to Brandi Johnson for 5 1/2 years now, and I leave happy every single time! I won’t trust anyone else with my hair because of the great job she does! The atmosphere of the salon is fantastic and everyone there is great! The manager, Samantha, clearly cares about the salon, the staff, and all of the clients. She is smart, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have seen a couple of managers come and go since I became a client, and she is a head and shoulders above anyone before her!! The prices are higher than the chains that offer “super clips” & “great cuts” (you know who I mean) but the service, training, and products are far superior. Their prices are much lower than a fancy boutique shop, but the quality is just as good and better. The prices are very fair for the attention and great results I see every time. Quality isn’t free. I already look forward to my next visit."
