"Awesome park to visit as a family, it’s quite small. But well located where you have all the commodities of the city nearby, but where you feel surrounded by nature. My husband (pro biker) and kids loved the trails which come in all levels from beginners to advanced. We had an awesome camping experience. Love the lake and the falls too. The falls themselves are very shallow so great if you have little ones."

"The park was easy to find. It is located about 3 miles south of the I 85 intersection. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are paved and in fairly good condition but too narrow for two large rigs to meet. Our site, 29, was a pull through that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is not bad for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even but sadly had only a very thin a sparse bit of gravel and a bit of rain fell during our stay which turned our site into a mud pit. The mud was sticky and slippery. It was impossible not to track it into our motor home. Overall the park was clean and well groomed and it appeared other sites were better able to withstand the rain than ours. There is no park included wifi. The cable TV worked adequately.. We did find some OTA channels as well. Satellite might be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean and modern. There are trails from in the park as well as a lake for fishing and swimming. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $34.17 per night plus a one time $5.00 booking fee and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again but at a different site. Two points lost for all of the mud that was dragged into our coach."

"Nice park, older but clean, built by the CCC in 1938, swimming hole and small lake with dam, 16 miles of mountain bike trails, heavily wooded, I like it, I’d come back, view out my window"
