"The arboretum is a lovely free place to take a stroll and see the local trees, bushes, flowers, plants, wildlife, pond, small waterfall, and enjoy the shade. I walk there on my lunch breaks (very close to Auburn University campus), and it is always a calm and peaceful place to visit. There is a nice loop of walking path but also more that extend beyond that and some in the middle. In spring you can enjoy the amazing azaleas blooming- various colors of orange, yellow, pink, red, and white."
"Excellent Areboretum! Easy walking and steeper trails. Benches throughout to sit. Great place to bring kids, picnic on the lawn, hike. Bring binoculars for birdwatching!"
