"I asked for long layers and showed the stylist multiple pictures so there would be no confusion. Unfortunately, she took off too much hair. My hair touched my lap when I sat down before the cut it barely touched my shoulders when I left. It is difficult to assess the final look when your hair is wet and I was not allowed to have my glasses on during the cut. I was dumbfounded. What can you do? The hair is gone. I am too old to cry about it. I didn’t want to make a scene. I simply paid the bill and left. The young lady who cut my hair was extremely personable, very nice but just did not follow my instructions. I believe she was a recent graduate (from our conversation) and didn’t possess enough experience to provide the cut I asked for. It took many years to grow my hair that long but I needed a good hairstyle after being quarantined for over two years. I had been getting my hair cut in Athens, Ga when visiting family before the pandemic but didn’t feel comfortable going during this time. I took a chance and stayed in Rome. I regret it."
