Creatwood Tavern

"Hadn’t been to Creatwood in a few years. We were in the area and I was telling my husband how good the food was since, he had never been. We stopped by and had Hope H as our server. Not once did she crack a smile to us or anyone else she was serving tonight. It was pretty slow in there so, we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking she was probably having a boring day and ready to leave. She was back and forth from the bar, not cause she was getting drinks but, because she was talking to a guy sitting there (I assume he was her bf or something because, talking to him was the only time I saw her smile and she even sat there with him while I stared at her, waiting on her to look my way, so I could ask her for a togo box. She didn’t.) I ended up shouting across the room for a box and the check. The kitchen staff did their thing as always and the food was great, that’s why I left 2 stars. However, Hope was trash and gets zero stars. We didn’t need “over the top” service but, it wasn’t even decent! Imagine how bad the service has to be, to get so annoyed you want to leave a lengthy review… yeah. On a slow night like tonight, we are people you would want to have because we have absolutely no issues spending money and would have tipped great. Instead, she got a mediocre tip that, she honestly didn’t deserve. S.n. I see another review here about Hope and how she increased someone’s tip after they left so, I’ll be looking out and Hope, don’t you even dare try it. :)"

"It was ok. Blue cheese is super cheap and almost tastes like ranch. Ask for dressing on the side. Buffalo salad was way overdressed and i sent it back because it was gross. Good flavor but way too much. Didn’t like that I had to ask for some money back. Should have been a given. Disappointing. Bobby’s service was good at first and then lacked. Would have had more drinks if he came by the table."

"First time coming. We had a group of four. Walking in the door was less than desirable due to an unfriendly hostess. Our server, though, was great. She was very attentive, friendly, and constantly checked with us. Kept refills coming and checked if food was prepped to satisfaction. I had cajun pasta with chicken, which was a good portion and very tasty. Husband had fish and chips. The only complaint he had was the cole slaw. Friend ordered chicken tenders. If you are a big eater, the tenders are extremely small. Overall our dinner was good. Would go back again."

"We had our company gathering at this place. It was good overall. Servers were very friendly, but the food came out way too late, and we constantly missed spoons and forks. We just got finger food, so it wasn't anything special on food side. It would be nice if it was like a sports event because the restaurant has lots of sports memorabilia."
