"My family and I arrived at this location tonight 12/25/2023 at about 8:40 pm and were told the dining area was about to close at 9. However the lady did not want to serve us and a waitress named Shanna politely said she would serve us and take our order. The food was rushed and thrown together because the cooks somehow mixed up our orders with other people to go orders. The cooks and some of the waitresses were arguing back and forth very loudly. Needless to say I will not return to the Waffle house again because of the poor customer service and they were not welcoming. Shanna our waitress was the best part of our visit. She went over and above to try and smooth out our initial interaction from the other waitress when we first walked in. The manager comped our food but it still took too long about 30-45 minutes and didn't taste good or look presentable when it was plated."
"I came in and sat down, my server had the smartest mouth on her and she was rude as f there was a person washing dishes and was dropping the f bomb cause she wasn’t pleased with her son’s shoes and she was cussing and fussing about it, my server was just foul mouth and smart no one spoke to me coming in the restaurant, they all had attitudes and the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant it was foul."
"Ms. Mary and the staff at 1450 Veterans Memorial Drive has the best Waffle House i have ever been to by far. It is exceptionally clean. Ms. Mary listened...and had my order to perfection. This was at 8am on 10/17/2023. The other ladies were extremely friendly. I hope this company is treating them right."
"First of all, story time for all you newbies who are new to the south and dont know about this Waffle House life....We walked in and it was PACKED. The wait would be about 30min. We noticed 4 open seats at the bar area. We sat down and was served quickly. The bar is open seating! First come first serve. Dont just stand against the wall. The staff was AWESOME even though they were swamped! You go to some Waffle House locations and they are just so angry. This location is one of the best. You even get hot water for your utensils to make sure they are nice and clean. They also have 2 of the BEST cooks."
