"The location is great. The lots are clean. Lots of huge spiders in the bathrooms. A man and woman had sex in the showers in the women's bathroom when I was on the shower with my 1 year old. The new staff are okay. The park host 1 guy rides around and stops and talks to people at the randomist, oddest times. They haven't fixed the checkin time yet. It was 4pm and checkout was 3pm. Now it's checkin at 4pm checkout at 11am. It's supposed to be checkout at 11am and checkin at noon. The beaches are nice. The cleaning lady went into the men's bathroom when men were in it using the facility. They complained and she acted like she does it normally. The park ranger Kari is rude avoid her at all costs."

"My wife and I have stayed at this campground at least six times. I consider it a fairly nice campground with good sized campsites. How level they are varies considerably. The problem lately has been the total lack of rule enforcement. The campsite across from us had five vehicles parked on it overnight and six tents. There were at least six adults outside until well after midnight talking loudly. Dogs are out without a leash. I've noticed at other COE campgrounds there are no longer any park rangers to drive through. I've stayed four weeks in COE campgrounds this year and have not seen a ranger at all. Their funding was probably cut. Apparently, we have enough money to put illegal immigrants in hotels but not enough for federal campgrounds."

"We stayed at site 95 and it had great water views and was tucked away from its single neighboring site. But BE AWARE that the front gate is closed at 10pm and you CANNOT exit even for an emergency. I feel like this should be illegal for safety reasons and it is NOT made clear when booking at all or I would not have booked a site here in the first place. We were only told about it upon checking in. An obvious fix would be to install an electric exit gate...but regardless, we will not be returning for that reason."

"It really depends on which campsite you get. Many of the ones on the lake were really nice. Plenty of shade, campfire ring, plenty of space for parking a RV and a vehicle, plus a tent. However, many-at the same price-were very small and cramped. There were several shower buildings spread through the campground, making it convenient for all. They were kept clean and the bathrooms were always clean and well-stacked with toilet paper. Deer walked through the campground both days I was there."

"Wow! That's all we can say. We stayed for 2 nights and were lucky enough to have a site with plenty of water views and a great location that gave the feeling of plenty of privacy. The campgrounds were very clean. And even though there's a large number of sites, they all seem spaced out enough to make ot feel much smaller. This is a campground you should definitely check out. We know we'll be back!"
