She removed the Bone Spur that formed after the extraction within a day or so of me calling it in. The Implant Post procedure could NOT have gone any better, 20 minutes and no discernible pain, swelling, or discomfort after the Novocain wore off. I find it very helpful for any Dr to explain what they are doing BEFORE they do something, she is VERY good at this Then, her making the call 24 hours later to see how I was doing is just another example of her personal attention to detail and commitment to her patients. The staff works together like a finely oiled machine and that is a testament to 1) the quality of the people, AND 2) the way they are managed. Do yourself a favor, go to Dr Shurley if you need oral surgery."

"I had a fever (FUO) of unknown origin. I have an adventure scheduled for The Mayo Clinic later in January 2024. I needed to remedy the fever prior to Mayo. After having a cleaning at my dentist, she identified I had an issue with at least one crown. I immediately called Dr. Taylor ( referred DMD) for a consult. Miraculously they were able to work me in right away! Then they were able to fit me in very first thing the next morning… answers to prayers as they had no other openings for a couple of weeks! Thank goodness it all worked out! This has been an incredible experience. Dr Taylor thoroughly explained all about the massive infection in my jaw/ under the two molars/ just under my sinuses. The infection evidently had been there for a long time without me even knowing it. It only recently felt “maladjusted” and negated my perfect bite to present a malocclusion. There really wasn’t pain per se. Dr Taylor affirmed my lack of energy and fever probably were due to this infection X 2 Molars and jaw. So this morning, I waited with great expectations as Dr Taylor and a bevy of nurses, assistants and surgical personnel welcomed me to rectify this need for two removals of back, upper molars. I was treated like royalty. The nurses excelled in their expertise and skills. Dr Taylor was warm, friendly, calming and the utmost professional. It was very peaceful and without ANY pain whatsoever. I am now home and feeling fine. You will need a driver as you’ll be a little groggy after the procedure. I was just fine to have a zoom meeting with Mayo even at 10:30 AM after my extractions at 8:00 AM. What an unbelievably Awesome experience that was positive EVERY step of the way. Kudos!!! to Craig Taylor, DMD and your exquisite staff.. one and All. This has to be the absolute best case scenario possible! What a great way to start my birthday with improved health!
