Walmart Vision & Glasses

"i only get my glasses from there and when i broke my they had them fixed within 5 days"

"Worthless. Every appointment was a new problem with them. I’ve been to a Walmart Vision Center before (Oakland, Maryland), and it was phenomenal. But, this Cambridge one is the most disorganized and incompetent business I have ever encountered. Every time I went in there, they made me make another appointment so they could “check how my eyes did with the contacts”. I finally had to demand they actually order my contacts and glasses, and they acted surprised that I didn’t want another checkup appointment, after having three. I paid for my contacts and glasses, and received the glasses. They cancelled the contacts. I had to call them about why something I had paid for hadn’t been delivered in the time frame they had given me. They left me on hold before giving the excuse of “being ok back order” and “they would ship today or tomorrow”. If that was true, why wouldn’t they have contacted their customers? I recommend this vision center, and this Walmart in general, to anyone who believes they have too much money and wants to waste it, anyone who is counting down their remaining days of life and wants to waste those, and/or anyone who is tired of dealing with people who are competent at their careers."

"My husband and I both had our exam and eyeglass purchases at the Walmart Center in Cambridge. Both of us had the same optometrist and both of our prescriptions were wrong. We both went back and she re-examined both of us and we had to reorder our glasses. This was not done at the same time.... they were months apart. They had to remake ours and we had to wait again. We have both been wearing glasses all of our lives and this optometrist was the only one where we had to have our glasses remade after a second exam. The equipment used did not look clean. We obviously will not be returning unless there is a change in optometrists. The sad part is that it is close to home and now I am going to go to Zanesville."

"My lesson learned. In 2018 I spent alot of money on a pair of glasses. Loved them! Due to accident in 2019.I was forced to buy new pair. Lesson learned. I went with cheaper pair this time. Bad idea! They are cheap! Made poorly. Never be allergic to as thing in my life. Can't wear my cheap glasses because they brake my ears out. And compared to my other one my vision sucks! Tip! Drop the cash!"
