"This is the worst Dollar General I’ve ever been to. I tried to go in at 10:45 to get some gauze for a wound because I was in a motorcycle accident and they said they were closed, shut and locked the door and stood there despite the store hours being until 11. When I say “they” it was a guy that didn’t even work there but someone’s boyfriend. Absolutely disgraceful!"

"This store has a sign on the door that says "Face Masks Required" but when I enter the store only about 10% of people, including the employees actually wear a mask. I asked the cashier about the sign and why people were not wearing a mask and she told me they were not allowed to enforce the rule(she wasn't wearing a mask either) due to people who have a medical condition. I asked how 90% of the people that enter the store have a medial issue that prevents them from wearing a mask for a few minutes and she just looked at me with a blank stare. Me and my GF both have issues with breathing, I even need to carry an inhaler with me but I can wear a mask for 5-10 minutes while I shop, everyone else just can't be bothered to wear a mask, even when it can save lives."

"I just left this store where the staff and manager we're rude. I had one gift bag and started walking to the cash register. When the lady turned her light off and rudely says( My lights off but I guess I'll get you anyways). I look at the manager and asked if she was the manager she said yes. I proceeded to tell her that what she said was rude and she shouldn't have said it and the manager says ( well she said she would get you anyways). And refused to give me the district managers number..This store is always packed and never has what you need on top of rude cashers and manager. And Let's not forget the smell of the chicken house makeing one unpleasant shopping experience . After this I will not be back to this one. I had to come back and add that it's been over a week and the district manager is yet to call... I've read other reviews and I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this store could be so much better but with poor management. What you see is what you get. I will drive a few minutes up the road for better service. Your only going to stand in line anyways.."
