Red Roof Inn Atlanta - Suwanee/Mall of Georgia

"I wish I could put zero stars. I booked a room for 1 night when I arrived I had to pay an additional 75$ deposit when I got up to my room and started checking the room out I pulled sheets back and there was hair and stains on the sheets, what looks like black mold in the sink, as well as the tv didn’t work and the tub still had dried up soap scum. I instantly went and turned in my keys was told id get a refund for my booking and deposit and then called the next day and spoke with the manager who ensured me id get my full refund of 151$ then never recieved it called a week later was told their system glitched and I should have my refund in a few days it’s not been 3.5 weeks and still no refund I called today and now they are trying to say the room was perfectly fine. The health department will be my next call and civil court (Wont let me add the video of the tv not working)"

"WORST STAFF!!! I went in yesterday to get a Room.! paid my deposit cash. And i checked out @5a.m. The receptionist didnt tell me that i would be getting my deposit @10a.m. WHEN NOWHERE THAT IVE STAID THAT HAD THAT STUPID RULE. BTW IVE STAID IN REDROOFS BEFORE AND I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM ON RECIEVING MY DEPOSIT BACK.Now i didnt get my CASH BACK I HOPE I GET SOME ANSWERS ON HOW IM GOING TO RECIEVE MY DEPOSIT. And reminder im not from the area i am from Houston."

"I didn't expect much considering i only paid about 50$ for the room, but They MAKE YOU pay a 75$ CHARGE JUST TO CHECK IN! This is important - As they didn't say anything when i booked and when i got there, i didn't have the money. Had to barrow some so i didn't sleep in the cold. There were cigarette holes in the blankets (I did get a smoking room, though..so i guess that could be expected) But I had to kill 4 baby cockroaches while I was there for 36 hours. The phone didn't work, but that wasn't really a problem. Everyone has a cellphone now. The Tv didn't have a guide which was hard to figure out. The shower didn't have a plug for the bath, only showers. Air condition was kind of nasty. Really dark stuff on it. Weird little yellow stain on the sheets. Something that looked red, maybe paint? maybe blood? in a few spots on the ceiling. The ice machine was open to the elements outside. Dirt grime and bugs. There was also some questionable things outside - Wrecked cars near the back. Nasty green pool that wasn't even covered correctly for winter. A literal door was busted open with no knobs and you could go inside. The only decent thing was the water pressure in the shower and the house keeping came by to give us new towels. I'm not all that annoyed - I know it was a cheap motel when i booked it, but damn this was bad lol. But I really only needed a place in from the cold so i'm not really asking for much."

"When I got there this time, I recalled my last experiences here. The front desk staff has a couple of snotty people.. and, if they service the room and run out of towels, you just don't get any. They have an extremely limited supply behind the desk and they are often out. And that, in their mind, is completely the guests problem, clearly not theirs. Too bad.. the rooms are adequate, and the location is ideal for me. But the Super 8 next door is very good. One of the few hotels remaining who will service the room daily."

"The service was great. Very helpful staff. However.. the first room they put us in was crawling with cockroaches.. I asked to be moved. The attendant moved us no problem. Great right? No. This room had half dead bed bugs and definitely alive and thriving cockroaches. I was completely disturbed and disgusted my entire stay. I will not ever be going back there nor will I ever go to a red roof again. I would give half a star but they only allow one."
