"As usual I was a bit nervous as we approached the condo, hoping it was as good as it had looked in the pics. It was better than I had envisioned! The place was a little bigger than expected, with a wonderful balcony and a terrific view. It was clean and everything we needed was there. Outstanding! The amenities, pools, hot tubs, exercise room, were very good and also well tended. When it was time to leave the only regret we had was that we couldn't stay longer. Hopefully we can go back sometime soon."

"Loved our spur of the moment Beach Trip with friends. Loved the condo at Windrift East. The condo was spacious with a large balcony. The kitchen was well stocked for all the cooks! We will definitely stay there again. The Vavasseur’s & the Smith’s"

"We had a great time. This cottage was close to everything including a short walk to the beach. The only negative was the pool alarm that went off every time the door opened. That made it hard to sneak out in the morning while some were still sleeping. Overall this place was a good value for the two Queen beds."

"Poorly maintained unit. Spent 9 nights in the Gulf Shores unit. Ceiling lights didn't work on our arrival. Notified maintenance and was told the lights were special .order (they're not). Two lights were replaced on our 7th day. There are no GFCI receptacles anywhere in the unit (safety device). One coffee maker has its cord cut and fed throught the tile countertop then reconnected under the kitchen sink using wire nuts. There are several open electrical junction boxes and dangling wires. Both showers are poorly constructed. The master shower is tiled with large open grout lines that leave the underlayment exposed, glass blocks window with gaps between them that openly expose the outside, loose tiles on the floor (on our last day I noticed water dripping under the unit from the wet floor around the shower drain), no towel bar, poor lighting. The other bathroom has a tub that has been refitted to work only as a shower. The overflow drain has a large gap over it where water will easily get beneath the tub when in use. They've covered the "remodel" in the shower with a piece of 1/4 inch plywood which has no water resistant qualities and left gaps around the valves. Both showers will quickly rot out and pose a significant danger of falling through the floor. The overall interior finishes are "shabby". It appears that very little care or effort was put in to this unit. I hope the owner will see this review and take the time to investigate and correct these issues before someone gets hurt."
