"Excellent Christmas Eve dinner at Reel. We had a big party, and the service was excellent .The citrus swordfish was superb along with the ginger risotto. Others in our party throughly enjoyed the severed tuna and spicy salmon. Excellent restaurant for good seafood with a nice flair to their sides and seasonings."

"Our server Karen is very friendly and professional! The restaurant might need some attention to ensure all the seats are in good conditions, we saw some leather seats were bit worn on the surface, compared to all the very modern and new restaurants on the same street, Reel definitely need some attention on upkeep. Our food was not hot enough, and the plates were not hot, so that made food became cold quicker. Food prices were okay. Food taste just okay, portion of the tacos were a bit small, the rice for the tacos were a bit hard. Overall, it's an okay place to dine. They are probably not the most popular restaurants in the downtown, so they could accommodate larger group easier than other places (we saw at least two ~8 people group came in and the restaurant were able to easily accommodate it."

"Reel Seafood is a nice seafood restaurant located in Downtown Woodstock. It is a nice setting with good drinks. The bartenders are pretty awesome. Everyone is friendly and they make good drinks. I have not tried the main seafood dishes here yet, so I will save that extra star for when I do. They have a surprisingly good brisket burger that is worth a try. It was cooked medium and pretty hefty size wise. I will have the swordfish the next time I go and update my review. The owner is pleasant and works hard to keep prices reasonable and the food good. Give them a visit!"

"We were quickly seated & our waiter Justin was at our service in no time. He was both friendly & attentive, traits that are nice to see at a time when it seems good customer service is fast becoming a thing of the past. We stopped in for dinner specifically bc of the photo of the sea scallop meal found in the reviews. Since they are my favorite, I didn't hesitate to order them. The bed of risotto beneath the scallops was delicious but to my dismay the scallops were over salted & counterfeit though they presented very well. The soft squishy texture gives it away once you cut into them. Since a lb. of dry pack scallops runs about the same price as this finished dish I fully expected the real thing. But anyway, the crab cake appetizer was great and the the accoutrements to the mussels were delicious. The shrimp & chicken pasta was also good. I would definitely dine here again & skip the scallops."
