Volcano Steak and Sushi

"The sushi was great! Our waiter was definitely top shelf, and honestly for the amount of food you get it’s very reasonably priced! My 5 year old daughter was given aided chopsticks with the restaurant name on the back (which was an amazing touch)! At the end of our meal the waiter asked what ice cream she liked, at first she said strawberry, and quickly changed it to vanilla. He brought back both! We will 1000% be making a weekly trip here! The food and service was excellent!"

"This location left a little to be desired! First off, the person who cooked our food in front of us wasn’t that entertaining. Secondly, he put the chicken on the grill first and took it off last, so it was very overcooked. Thirdly, we asked for steamed rice and they brought that out to us a good 20-minutes before the dinner was served so it got ice cold (yes, we requested and got a replacement but what a hassle)! Fourth, we ordered our dessert before anyone else at the table, by a good 10-minutes. We ordered the fried cheesecake. Then about 10-minutes later the rest of the table ordered theirs. When they bring them out, the server gives our dessert to someone else and then tells us that we can take it from one of the two other people at the table who ordered fried cheesecake and started eating it all ready. Gross!! So now, we have to wait for our dessert even though we ordered ours first! When it finally gets to us about 12-minutes later, the table is done and we are leaving so this has to be boxed up. This is NOT a dessert that you can box up and eat at home as it was horrible!! So $8.99 for a piece of cheesecake that we didn’t get when ordered and then couldn’t eat! If you want to eat at this restaurant, I highly recommend the Kennesaw location and not this Woodstock location to be honest!"

"Volcano Steak and Sushi always promises a good time. Went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised that we were seated immediately when I was expecting it to be jam packed from the Sunday church rush. The magic hour was at 12:15 evidently. Our host was prompt with drinks orders and our hibachi chef soon followed with an array of entertainment for the kids. I had chicken and NY strip steak hibachi which was good especially paired with the homemade yum yum sauce. I took a point away for the small steak vs abundant rice/veggie ratio. All and all a good meal with efficient, effortless service in a nice setting. Will be back. Esp on Mondays when one hibachi purchase gets a second one 50% off. Love a sweet deal!!"

"This place is great, me and my sister come here sometimes and the selection of sushi is on point! I love cooked more than raw and they have a selection of cooked sushi that I've always enjoyed! The hibachi is to die for too, this place just deserves 5 stars all around for being nice, having delicious sides (yes, i am talking about the salad)"
