"Try hiring older cashiers that were actually raised with manors. These young girls are so rude. We were not even spoken too. She never said hello, not one word. We will not come back to this store."
"This is the closest grocery store to my home and I am so thankful that it is! (If it wasn't, I would still drive the extra distance to shop there. Lol!) The staff here are super helpful and it is noticeable the pride they take in their work because the entire store is extremely clean. Even the floors! The produce section is relatively small, but it is always tidy, fresh, and well kept. Even though this is a small store, there is a good variety of products and almost always a budget friendly store brand option available. Also, Food Lion's MVP discount program is amazing! It makes it so easy to save money on our groceries every week because of the sales they have on almost all of my family's grocery list staples! I almost always come out spending less than I had budgeted for. As we all know, that is a great feeling in today's economic climate. Growing up, Food Lion was the grocery store that my parents trusted and shopped at for all of our groceries and I am happy to say that I'm proud to continue that tradition. Great job, Food Lion! Thank you for being an awesome store with fantastic employees!"
"It is clean and neat. Produce is fresh. Prices are comparable. checkout counters are available so you don't have to check yourself out. But I am not that big on carrying a scan card to get reduced prices."
"I really love this store because it is so clean. However, some of the young workers are very rude - like cashier 0210 today who was too busy talking to her cashier friend to greet us. I didn't catch her name because she never once turned toward us, but it was the girl with pale green stuffed-animal looking hair."
"If you go inside the store Monday through Friday go say hi to Johnny, he makes this store worth shopping at. I think he works evenings. That aside the store is always clean, everyone is nice, but sadly there are no lions the kids can play with an enjoy. I've been going here for years. The produce is much better than at Walmart. Clean bathroom."
