Toki Sushi Steakhouse

"Let me preface this by saying.........sushi is a waste! No matter how much I like it, I can make it at home for a fraction of the price. Nori, rice, and a few vegetables constitute what most people eat. With actual raw fish, it's usually only the rice and a small amount of said fish. With that said, if you're in the mood for sushi, this place is fantastic at around a dollar a bite. The seafood is fresh and it's a much better deal than most other places."

"This is great sushi! Not just good for rural Alabama, but genuinely great. Had the sashimi deluxe tonight as well as some daily special rolls and I couldn't be more satisfied. Large portions is not something you normally expect at a sushi place but they definitely deliver without sacrificing quality. Sashimi was served on shiso leaf which is a detail I really appreciated. Will definitely come back."

"I happened upon this restaurant between my appointments with our customers. I’m so glad I saw this restaurant because what I ordered (Sushi Deluxe) was just really good. Rice was cooked well and sushi vinegar was applied very adequately. Raw fish tasted very fresh on every piece of sushi I had. Next time I’m in town I’ll have to try other things. One thing is that prices listed on the menu aren’t updated - but it says on the door as you enter the restaurant that they had to raise the price on everything due to the pandemic or something. But even though they raised the price on everything I still thought it was a bargain for all that sushi for that price. I highly recommend this place!"
