Sam's Club Tire & Battery

"Beware... I took my daughter's car in 2 days ago to get a slow leak repaired while I shopped. While I was shopping I was called back to the tire center and they told me they couldn't patch the nail hole because "the damage was too close to the sidewall". They then offered to sell me a $180 Pirelli tire instead of doing the free tire repair... I declined and told them I would shop around for a cheaper tire elsewhere. Today, I took the wheel off the car and was going to take it to a different tire shop to buy a more affordable tire, trusting them about the tire being irreparable . What did I find???? Take a look at the picture and see what they consider "too close to the sidewall".... The nail is almost in the CENTER of the tire. They were obviously trying to sell a new, expensive tire to a customer that clearly didn't need one. I patched the hole myself..... To make things better, when I was done shopping I stood around for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to come out of the shop and give me my keys. They weren't even that busy....had ONE other car in the bay and 3 guys working. Ridiculous..."

"I own a 2000 ford ranger and a 2007 kia optima. Each time the technicians do a great job and I can definitely tell a difference in how each handles. Sam's club offers excellent balance and rotation packages: one time and for the life of the tire based upon the available tread. Please contact them for specifics. The only downside is due to the present surge of covid-19 the automotive section may have been shut down once again. Please contact each store for availability."

"the two ladies who manage the counter are total bros. they are knowledgeable, will work with you, friendly, and will help you out and be honest with you about your options and how they can help you. the mechanics in the back are chill dudes and know their stuff. the biggest reason why I am writing this review is a tech accidentally broke a tire pressure monitor on my car. i didn't care. accidents happen. but their upfront honesty and willingness to let me go fix it at the benz dealership (was expensive) and fully reimburse me for the expenses was top notch. I hope Sam's doesn't reprimand the tech for that because that would be the wrong thing to do as they were honest in an industry known for dishonesty and that act ensured I, and my family, will be coming back here for life."
