"Don't make my mistake. I had a friend recommend this place for an oil change saying it was cheaper than the BMW dealer. I took their word for it and had my son, a local student, take my X5 there. I was surprised to get charged $255 for an oil change when the dealers in Birmingham, Macon and Columbus only charge $107-$122 with tax and even do a 3 year oil change plan for $225! BimmerMotorworks, which only does BMWs, charges $100. Even the AutoShop in Birmingham, which services Ferraris, Aston Martins and Lambos as well as BMWs charges less than this place at $200. AND SIMILAR TO WHAT ANOTHER REVIEWER HERE SAID (Michael M Akers), they said it required a brake fluid flush when I just had that done earlier this year. Very fishy, indeed. At a minimum it is eye gouging (2 to 3 times a dealer price!) and the level of honesty is suspicious. What a mistake. Total regret. _________ Update Jan 19, 2024 Regarding their reply below: First of all, they did NOT communicate the price ahead of time as stated. But let's say they did. Let's give them that benefit. In that case, they are admitting that they took advantage of my son, getting his first oil change, not realizing that $255 is a ridiculous price. The bill itself has a bogus $96.00 "5,000 mile service" charge which they did not do and on the phone stated that was for the oil change labor but if I check other oil changes the labor states "oil service" not a service that was admittedly NOT done. Sounds like fraud to me."

"Breaking down on a the Friday afternoon before Thanksgiving driving through Opelika on 85 they were gracious enough to let me have my car towed to there facility after hours. They called me the following Monday after diagnosing my car and what could have cost me upwards of $15,000 because I truly thought my car was out of warranty cost me nothing because they did the research to find out it was still under warranty and told me I needed to have it towed to the dealership for service. I am very grateful for there honesty and integrity."

"Taken my car to this shop a couple times, the techs all seem like they don’t want to be there and always give me an attitude over the phone, I’ve had multiple terrible customer service experiences. Spent around $400 for them to relube my breaks just to have them start squeaking less than a week later. Not very satisfied with this shop, I feel like I’ve been shorted. I will be taking my car elsewhere for service."

"Took my 2017 Bmw here last year due to the coolant light coming on. Took it there the first time thought everything was fixed. Couple months later my coolant light is still coming on and I’m not sure why. Called back up to have them look at it later last year after the first time because the car had barely been driven since it mainly stays in auburn it never travels far. Took it up there a second time thinking I wasn’t going to get charged since it was their mess up because it wasn’t fixed properly. Proceed to get charge almost a $1000 later to find out months later that it was still not fixed properly. Just this last week took it to Bmw for another issue just to get quoted double of what I spent total at performance to get this issue handled the right way. I will never use this facility again for my car. I feel like they work on your car don’t fix the problem just to keep getting money from you. Also when I took it the second time I got the feeling that they could have cared less. Use them at your own risk. This whole situation is infuriating especially when I’m out of way more money than needed."

"I had some engine misfiring on my 2016 Audi A3. I took it down to Performance Services, and it was diagnosed and fixed within one day. If you drive a foreign car and are in need of repairs or tuning don't hesitate to bring it to these guys. Frank and his staff are extremely professional, and do very high quality work. The price I was charged was far better than the dealers would have been, and they didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. I'll never take my Audi to another shop. Honest folks who do great work! I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for the excellent job!"
