"These guys do great work and are a pleasure to talk to. They took in my e28 and fixed a few issues I mentioned and found other critical things that needed addressed. Tough to find shops that provide this level of care these days. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again."

"I brought my auto to Flyin Wrench for a detailed inspection ahead of factory warranty expiration. They identified a few issues missed by the dealership which would have been costly repairs outside of warranty later down the road. I highly recommend them for servicing and repairing vehicles and have plenty of friends who use Flyin Wrench as their trusted repair shop!"

"The team at Flyin Wrench is awesome! Patrick was great to work with when I brought my car in for a SES code that had me scared. His communication, thoroughness, and prices have created a customer out of me."

"**Update** car started having major cooling issues within 300 miles of motor build. From what I can tell the thermostat is not working properly. While diagnosing that I found 3+ loose connections that were not done at time of install; I have plenty of follow up work to do. The guys who work there are great but this project is not their best work. Hopefully you all do not have the same experience as I do. Used Flyin Wrench to assemble and install an m20b25 motor I had previously removed and disassembled back into my e30. Matt did a great job with the motor build - the thing looks brand new and it runs great! They had the car for about 2.5 weeks. Motor was balanced/built in like 3 days, install took about 2 weeks but did require a revisit. Reasons for the 3 star review: 1) they under quoted the job by a pretty significant amount. It was almost double what they initially estimated it’d be, and then informed me of an additional credit card fee the day I went to pick it up which was another couple hundred bucks. 2) A few accessory pieces (i.e. washer fluid reservoir) were not reinstalled and required a revisit. 3) getting call backs was tough. I found myself calling them to follow up on most things. 4) the screws holding the bumper valence went missing (not a big deal) but they didn’t have any spares to put it back on… hard to understand why a mechanic shop wouldn’t be able to accommodate this. Ultimately they found 2 non-standard ones to hold in place until I could get to ACE and get my own, but for the price I paid this should have been a non-issue. 5) During the drive back for the revisit, a coolant hose they had re-used burst and the car began to overheat and needed a tow. Wish they would have purchased new hoses the first time rather than charge me another $250 to fix one later on; labor was already paid for during round 1. I should have done it myself however the car was already up there for the revisit mentioned above and they went ahead with the fix before telling me what it would cost. They did mention they’d pay for the tow truck and I am waiting on a check in the mail - tbd."
