"Well, being that I work here on Tuesdays, I have nothing but good things to say about this well established emissions station. We are fast. We are polite and friendly. We are consistent - open 7 days a week, till 7PM every day but Sunday. (How else are the 9-to-5ers out there going to get it done?) Yeah, you might could find a place doing it for a few bucks less... But the difference isn't something you notice when you pass your emissions inspection. The difference comes in when you don't pass! Where other places leave you at "It failed. Sorry.. " we go above and beyond to not only help you understand why it didn't pass, but how to handle it from there to get it resolved with as little cost, effort, and time as possible! Do those other discount places keep a copy of each manufacturer's drive cycle steps handy in case of readiness fails? Didn't think so... Will other places make sure to inform you of the tag renewal kiosk machine down the street so you can avoid the tag office experience entirely? This is all we do, folks. We aren't a mechanic that also does emissions. We only do emissions, so we are darn good at it, if I do say so myself!"
"Place has a big sign that says 23.00, it's huge and painted on the emission part of the gas station. Really big. It's not until you get your car in there and he's done, that he asks for payment and tells you with a card, it is 2.00 more. He pointed to a very very small piece of paper that you absolutely cannot see, especially if you're on a driver seat. It's pricey. I have never paid 25.00 for an emission. He told me he didn't even need to have a sign with prices, and the law didn't require it. Be transparent please. The only plus, it was fast."
