"Stopped in today to buy windshield washer fluid and a $12 trim tool. At first, I couldn't find washer fluid and asked a gray haired lady working the counter. In a condescending tone she threw a wave to a back corner of the store and said it is over there. I picked up my fluid and went to the counter to pay. She had now moved to stocking inventory and just looked at me and continued for another minute while I stood there before she came over for the transaction. She scanned my first item and said "I need your phone number." I told her I don't have one to share-- because I don't give out my number to retailers. She then glared at me and said I've already scanned the item, so "what do you want to do?!" She was refusing to sell to me unless I shared a phone number. I kindly told her to "Keep it"! And walked out. This lady needs some serious training or a new job.... I went to Autozone and not only found the same items for less money, but they had no problem simply letting me buy it without a phone number. My advice, go to Autozone...I will not be back to Advance Auto Parts again."

"Title: Extremely Disheartening Experience at Advance Auto Parts, Powder Springs/Dallas Hwy: Unprofessional Behavior Unacceptable I recently had an experience at your store location that I feel compelled to share. I purchased a battery during a visit to Warner Robins, which unfortunately turned out to be the wrong one for my Yukon. Back home in Powder Springs, I promptly returned the battery to the nearest store, a mere 5-minute drive from my house. The events that transpired during this return were deeply disheartening. From the moment I walked in, I was met with an unwelcoming attitude from Cheryl Ann. I explained that I needed to return the battery, to which she harshly responded with a curt, "why?" I informed her that the battery wasn't suitable for my truck, only to be met with further condescension. Throughout our interaction, I couldn't help but notice the glaring contrast between Cheryl Ann's demeanor and my previous encounters in other stores. As a Black woman, I am no stranger to the microaggressions and disrespectful attitudes that unfortunately persist in our society. Cheryl Ann's tone and demeanor during our exchange were particularly concerning, considering my identity and her role as a store representative. Her questioning, "humor me, you say you have a Yukon?" felt not only disrespectful but also dismissive of my valid concerns. In an attempt to address my dissatisfaction, I approached Cheryl Ann to request to speak with the manager. To my astonishment, she claimed to be the manager herself. I proceeded to address the situation, expressing my disappointment in her behavior. Instead of acknowledging the issue, Cheryl Ann seemed taken aback and continued to justify her actions. What shocked me even more was her assertion that her experiences as a woman in the automotive business made her understand my perspective. This comparison belittled the complex issues I was trying to address and showed a clear lack of understanding. Her attempts to deflect and dismiss my concerns only added to the distress of the situation. The entirety of my interaction with Cheryl Ann was distressing and left me feeling hurt and disrespected. I cannot emphasize enough how deeply troubling it is to experience this level of unprofessional behavior, especially from a store representative who should uphold a standard of respect and courtesy. Ultimately, I have decided that I can no longer support a store that employs individuals who display such blatant disregard for the dignity of their customers. I will not return to this store location or any other associated location. It's disheartening to realize that such attitudes still persist, and I cannot in good conscience contribute my hard-earned money to a business that allows such behavior to continue unchecked. In a time when diversity, equality, and understanding should be paramount, this experience stands as a stark reminder of the progress we still need to make as a society. I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously and that appropriate action will be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future."

"I don't recommend anyone to work at this location. I had a friend that worked at this location, and many times sacrifice his off days to fill in at other store location. The store manager Ann is threatened by anyone that knows more than she does. She's been with the company for years but has a power struggle issue and authority. Very insecure in who she is. Has a employee on payroll but doesn't wait customers because she's friends with the family. Unethical, Unprofessional and not knowledgeable, just a warm body in the position as a Store Manager. This organization needs to send in private shoppers so they will see what takes place in this store."

"Great service! Very knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. Installed my new wiper blades for me, so I could safely get home in the rain. Wish I could remember the guys name who helped me. My receipt says LeRoy but not sure if that is correct. Either way, thank you so much for all your help! Happy Hollidays!"
