Timbers Restaurant

"Mid week while staying at lodge we came down for dinner. Was not crowded but VERY understaffed. Took over an hour to get meals and there were only about 7-8 tables with customers. Our server was friendly but could have used help. Some of the meals were good while some over cooked and the Philly flat bread was burnt. We would likely not eat here again but it is the only place to eat unless you want to drive 25-30 minutes into town."

"Made 2pm reservations for Thanksgiving. Got there on time to a line of people and a 2 hour wait. Most in front of us had 3pm and later reservations. No organization whatsoever. A reputable restaurant honors timed "reservations". This place has no clue and the wait time was definitely not worth a meal that would have cost us $80. We left and found a restaurant with an awesome Thanksgiving meal and saved $40. Good riddance Timbers Restaurant. Can't even say the lodge was decorated nicely, but the one we went to was beautiful inside with a large fireplace and decorated Christmas trees. So thankful we left Timbers behind!"

"Just back from Thanksgiving buffet. Had a 2:30 reservation. Arrived at 2:15 and proceeded to wait in a line until 3:30. Food was sitting along the waiting line, which I found disgusting. Once we were finally seated, no waitress appeared for drink orders. We were very hungry, so decided to go get food. Another wait for them to bring plates out. Finally got our salads and sat down. Still no waitress for drink orders. Finished salad and went back for entrees to wait for clean plates again and by the time we were halfway through the entree, a waitress walked by and I asked her to get us drinks. She asked who our server was and I told her we had no idea because we hadn’t seen one yet. She brought drinks about 5 minutes later. The food was mediocre. The server tossed our bill on the table then and disappeared again. I went to (evidently not) the cashier and she said we couldn’t pay there, the server would collect. Back to the table to wait some more. No one ever apologized for the initial wait. Needless to say, we won’t be returning."

"What an amazing Thanksgiving lunch we enjoyed. The food was excellent. The turkey and ham were some of the best we've ever tasted. We had Savannah as a waitress and she was amazing and so attentive. All the servers/staff around the buffet were very helpful as well. We normally have plans on Thanksgiving, but this year that changed very last minute, and we were so blessed to be able to get one of the last reservations. Thank you all for doing this and for giving up part of your Thanksgiving to make ours more memorable. Many blessings to you all."
