"I visited the Original Pooler location a few years back and was delighted to try the new bakery location. I had the chicken pot pie - super fresh, with a flaky buttery crust, nice amount of chicken and vegetables inside surrounded by a delicious savory gravy. The crust held it all together up to the last bites- so impressive. I also had the millionaire dessert which was so decadent and satisfying. The drink, purchased from their amazing English grocery was also delicious. Service is spot on and friendly. Can’t wait to try them again."

"We stopped by Pie Society on a Wednesday afternoon before dropping off family members at the nearby airport in Savannah. Three of us ordered different kinds of pot pie. Mine was chicken thyme. I found it to be hot, tasty, and filling. It contained a generous portion of chicken breast in a brown gravy. The taste of thyme was present but not overwhelming. The filling was contained in a buttery double crust baked to a golden brown. I quite liked it. The restaurant is unpretentious. The pies of the day are prominently displayed in glass cases, one housing cold pies to purchase and heat at home and the other case containing hot pies to consume on the premises. Several high tables with stools stand against the wall opposite the counter for customer use. Besides several varieties of pies, Pie Society also serves quiche and fish and chips as well as pastry items for dessert. Bottled beverages are also available. When looking for a quick bite of England cuisine, Pie Society fits the bill."

"4 years ago I would have given this place a 5/5, no hesitation. I loved all the pies I had tried. Now, it is different. We got some frozen pies to take home. The large Steak and Ale, although flavor wise was delicious, was mostly bread. I would say the overall thickness was about 2"; where 1/2" bottom crust, 1/2" meat, and 1" top crust. Barely any filling. I feel sometime over the past 4 years they started skimping on the meat. I was very disappointed. Pie Society, I hope you go back to making the meaty pies you used to make."

"I'm really surprised to find this British styled bar along 80 nestled in a strip mall. I have been wanting more locally owned establishments in the Westside for the longest time. Highly suggest the huge Big British Platter for the app. Pretty perfect mix of flavors. The Fish and Chips were spot on. Huge portions and cooked just right. The homemade sauces were great, especially the curry ketsup and beef gravy. We loved the ship theme, and our service was great. The only hit I'd give would be the Cotrage Pie. Tasy, but too soupy. Still, the crisp cheddar on the potatoes made for a tasty bite. Well done, and cheers"
