River Street Inn

"I travel a lot with my job and this was my first time at the River Street Inn, very disappointing. This is a picture of my shower of someone’s hair that is not mine, disgusting. The lady at the front desk was polite and offered to refund the $25 resort fee !? The only positive was the bartender at the restaurant on the second floor, he was awesome and the manager introduced himself which was great! I will not be staying here again."

"We stayed for one night at this hotel and the location was very strategic in downtown Savannah. The hotel lobby was not fancy but the hotel was clean and it looked like they did some upgrades on their hotel. The hotel was a walking distance to all the shops and nice restaurants and I recommend the olde pink house for dinner and call ahead to make reservation. Our bedroom where we stayed has the river view and the room was more on the narrow side and small but since we only stay for a night we really didn't mind with the room size. The bed was soft but too soft for my husband's back, bathroom was clean, the coffee was good too. We really enjoyed their happy hour. The bartender/ server was very helpful and friendly. The food/ spread were really good and the drinks selection were plenty. We tried to get in the hotel from the river side but the key did not work but luckily one of the kitchen worker was walking out and was able to hold the door for us to get in. The valet parking for the hotel was $40/night so we decided to park at the parking garage across the street and it cost $12 per night. They have coffee shop next door and if you show them your room key you will get 10% off but be prepared the service was not fast like Starbucks. Overall, it was a good stayed."

"We like it here because of the location, but this time, the staff on the fifth floor and some of the front desk made the stay worthwhile. I do like the rooms, but one night we had cold showers. Also, I could use one more chair so I don't have to move the computer chair."

"The hotel is located in an old river front building. Old brick interior walls, wood floors, and period furniture. Very comfortable, lux bedding. Wonderful shower, too. The managers cocktail party was a plus. Great drinks and food. Rooms are a little pricey but location location, location.."

"This is a really cool hotel with an awesome location on the riverfront. The staff were great and the charm of the place was better than expected. I'm giving it four stars out of five only because the rooms have Edison bulbs for light and they are cool white in temperature rendering them almost painful to look at. I operated in the dark with the only illumination coming from the bathroom. Make sure to get a room with a river view as the views are much better."
