"Do not go here for marriage counseling if you don’t want to continue the blame game and have things resolved. Both decided it wasn’t for the best"

"Writing under my current husbands name after finally having the courage to look for another counselor and having this awful place pop up as a nearby option again. when I sought counseling here many many years ago as a married woman who was struggling with my spouse. At the time, my former spouse would frequent bars after work, blowing bill money and told me that his money was none of my concern because I did not earn it. I was astonished that a "Christian" counselor would support this type of behavior by agreeing that my husbands method of decompressing was not my business. I sobbed about his female friends who would join him at the bar and that I was not permitted to attend with him depending on who he was meeting up with. I was told by Tracy Pace to immediately place myself on antidepressants or our sessions would not continue from my crying. My then husband ended up having multiple affairs and filing bankruptcy. Good job Mrs. Pace, you could have really helped a small family that came to you in desperate times."

"I finally feel ready to write a review. The therapist I saw here was not helpful to me. I followed the methods she gave me, and despite the fact that I was doing things such as leaving my house more, she told me I wasn't making any progress towards getting better. It completely ruined all progress I had made and set me back to square 1. I never went back again, I do not recommend this place."

"My teenagers have seen Shanda for years and love her. She connects with them in a way no therapist ever has. I’d highly recommend her to anyone"

"I think I’ve finally gained enough courage to write an honest review. Jacqueline Calhoun was our therapist, and to be a Christian therapy group I did not feel the love of God at all. My husband and I went in with a list of things that we felt we needed to work on with our marriage. My felt like my list was totally disregarded. Like most marriages, one of our concerns was money. After I went through a detailed list of what I spent my money on exactly, Jacqueline looked at my husband and said “is that ok?” and then NEVER asked my husband how he spent his money. When I said I felt my husband was a workaholic and looking for a second job to take on more work I was told “well he’s young and your child won’t remember daddy wasn’t home so he might as well do it.” When I expressed my concern that I would notice he wasn’t home she completely disregarded me and moved on to the next subject. We were also forced to take a survey of our counseling experience in front of Jacqueline and she read it while we were in the room. We also still had one more counseling session after our survey. While we would’ve given her WAY worse rating, we felt forced to “be nice.” If anything, working with Jacqueline made our marriage harder. I felt like she continuously sided with my husband, which gave him a one up on me during our time of struggle. I was put down during sessions and made to feel like I was the problem in my marriage by our counselor. Thankfully my husband and I have helped ourselves and have gotten out of an even bigger rut all thanks to heritage counseling."
