"Decent location not too far from downtown Savannah. Was great for me and my wife as it’s about equal distance from the airport, Amtrak station, and downtown which is all we needed to be at while in town. Front desk attendant wasn’t the friendliest. Otherwise everything was pretty decent."

"Had accidentally booked this place even though my job had me go to Atlanta. Mind you I travel and get reimbursed for my stay. However since it was a mistaken reservation, I went ahead and requested a refund way past 24 hours. Never did I ever see or get informed of the cutoff being way over 24 hours. So mind you, I’m out of a stay that cost me over $300 and I paid for a service that was never rendered… so yeah here’s my review The rooms where non existent The person in the front counter was never their The service, never received any And the overall stay, just wasn’t what I paid for! Would love my money back for a simple oversight, however, Garden Inn could definitely say they want your money, not your business!"

"They definitely post pictures from their best floor and rooms! There was a tornado warning in the area where I was driving through. I checked in. The receptionist was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The elevator is small. Hand prints everywhere. Got to my floor on the 3rd. There were holes all in the wall. The exit sign is tilt like someone hit it. The lighting is not the best. Motel vibes. My room smell like a teenager’s room that just got home from practice and through their clothes in the corner. Thank god I had air freshener. I’m pretty sure they don’t vacuum. I change the sheets to my room. Remove them a put my disposable ones on. Much better. Wipe down everything. Which was dirty. Breakfast was good. The basic eggs, waffles and fruit are available. The walls are so thin. I can hear the slightest whisper. And if you’re yelling at your man. I can hear that too. Which I’ve already picked a side. This hotel is cheap for a reason. But I’m glad I’m out of the storm."

"Get to breakfast early if you want any selection. I went to breakfast at 8a, the staff chatting at the front desk while multiple food stations were left empty, no cups for juice or coffee. When I asked for a cup, the staff member filled the further station, then the one I was standing by - how about handing me the cup I had asked for, maybe before restocking? There was no meat to go with the eggs; no fruit; no bread, no pastries, no restocking of these either. Glad there's a supermarket next door. Having to say "excuse me" and the staff member not move at all, so I had to squeeze by them standing in front of the elevator door reading some paper when the door to my floor opened was quite inconsiderate. There were only the 2 of us in the elevator so space wasn't an issue. Sink doesn't drain well so brush your teeth quickly before it overflows. Half used lotion and no shampoo in bathroom. The hot water in the shower didn't stay hot for long. The bathroom fan was annoyingly loud. The tub either moldy, stained or dirty - poor lighting in bathroom made it impossible to get a decent picture. The fridge sounded like a ticking time bomb. Big ole smudge in the center of the TV made it difficult to watch. These are all unavoidable issues that has nothing to do with it only being a 2 star property, it's poor management, a lack of training and oversight. I won't be back for a 3rd visit."

"This is not a 4 or 5 star resort. The sink didn’t drain properly and the carpets looked worn in certain places. However, for the price we paid, this was a wonderful place to stay. It’s close to the Historic District and River Street and it wasn’t too far from the airport. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was pretty good. It was an excellent place to stay and, like I said, for the price point, it got 5/5 stars from us!"
