Red Roof Inn Augusta - Washington Road

"You get what you pay for! It's an $80 room so don't expect much these days. This hotel is where all the construction workers stay doubled, tripled, and my quadrupled up in these rooms. The bathroom door wouldn't close, there was an odd smell in the room like someone was cooking with grease in it. Overall, the floors were fairly clean, and the beds weren't too bad. The bathroom wasn't very clean, there was some mold in the shower and there wasn't much water pressure. I wouldn't stay here again."

"One of the few hotels I’ve stayed at that I didn’t feel safe. I travel budget-friendly a lot. Door was damaged. Holes in wall in bathroom. Ceiling looks like it has black mold. No bedbugs though. Sketchy people hanging around. Probably a transient hotel. Avoid especially if you have family with you. It was decently quiet though during mid-week. Desk attendant was nice."

"I booked this through hopper 12/20-12/21! Definitely not luxury, romantic, quiet, kid friendly, great value or high tech The floors were filthy. The first picture is a towel I layed down to walk on after noticing my socks turning completely brown on the bottom & changing them. The shower had a spider web and spider inside. The refrigerator was in horrible shape. There were gun shots outside going off outside of my room I called to the number online to see if things were ok or under control after laying in the tub for 45min-1hour and was told I’d be transferred to the front desk. They hung up. After getting out of the tub not knowing if it was safe or not I checked the surroundings outside and it seemed like it was usual activity. I took a nap and woke up to the floor covered in water as shown in the last couple of pictures. I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth. I called the front desk for a refund and was told to contact hopper for a refund. They didn’t give me a hard time about the refund and told me they’d send maintenance for the water. I would not recommend. If you do book pay the insurance so you can get a refund."

"I actually had a decent room for the two-nights I stayed. The hotel location is perfect for getting out to notable restaurants plus there wasn’t much shaky traffic throughout the walkways. And front desk service was excellent. In short, it was a great deal."

"If I could give this room a negative 10 I would!!! This room was horrible. I am writing this review after requesting a refund. The room was filthy and when I brought up to front desk he told me he would check on it then didn’t get back to so we went and talk to him again he came and looked at our room. He came back a third time with a broom and o had been on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor. There was black mold on the shower ceiling. Front desk was rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place for the homeless let alone anyone!"
