"The initial visit was very good however towards the end I was told I was having another test while being checked out of the hospital on a tv screen and was told to be back at 5:00am the next morning for a part two test. I asked why I’m being checked out if they believe I needed another test. So after a hour or so I was told that I was staying and this was around 5:45pm. So I stayed the night and was ready for the test at 5:00am. Time went on and after asking multiple times when are they coming to get me a doctor was on the floor and was quite upset I was asking her a question and she was busy talking with the staff at the nurses station and she would get back with me. Well that never happened so walked back to the nurses station and they told me that no second test was never needed or set up and I was being checked out. I replied how long will it take for this to happen. The manager on the floor apologized and helped me get things done quickly and was walked out with escort to the interior door then I walked out through the emergency room lobby and doors myself. My extra stay of 16 hours was not very pleasant and communication between departments and doctors need to improve. Specially one doctors attitude."
"The staff was fantastic! But something has changed with policy and not for the best. I had surgery and was in the hospital for a few days. On day 3 I had to ask for my linens to be changed. They never brought in wipes or anything to clean myself. On day 4 I asked if I could take a shower seeing no one would bring me anything to rinse my self off. This was a big change from the last time I was there. I was told that they don’t do the wipe downs anymore unless asked. They brought no tooth paste of deodorant or anything like they did in the past!"
"From the beginning of my arrival to the very end all the doctors, nurses and staff were courteous and professional. I truly appreciate all they do. But a special shout to the nurses. EVERY single nurse was knowledgeable and displayed empathy. I knew I was in good care.❤️"
"The is a great hospital! The service and care is top notch! It is very clean and you don’t even get that cold feeling you can sometimes get in hospitals. It’s beautifully designed. I also appreciate that they have security screening whoever comes in. It makes me feel more secure knowing they do that. Thanks Orlando Health!"
