"My daughter visited this salon to have her very dark brown hair highlighted, lifted and balayaged. She consulted stylist prior to appointment, shared photo inspo, informed her of old color (black, faded) on ends and was ASSURED color inspo could be achieved. After NINE HOURS and painful bleach foils, much hair scraping with towel, bad toners and massive hair loss, she left with “peach” hair, missing a wedding gown appt with her bestie (as maid of honor) and LIGHT YEARS from any desired outcome. Salon owner got involved with the process at the point that both my daughter and the stylist were in tears. The initial outcome had yielded beautiful highlights on the top, though hair was traumatized, and bright carrot orange ends. The eventual outcome once the toner had been applied destroyed the top highlights by turning them to a muddy strawberry, light brown and turned the carrot orange ends to an auburn. I took her to a color expert days later who used all natural vegan products to try to strip the garbage out of her hair, apply a very gentle glaze, cut off 3 inches of fried damaged ends, and do an in-depth keratin treatment to help repair her severely damaged hair. Appalled that despite my daughters obvious trauma over the condition and color of her hair, she was charged, and the stylist even turned the keypad around for a TIP. I requested a refund from the owner the following morning. I was told that the refund would process in 3 to 5 business days. It has been over 5 business days, and 10 calendar days. No refund. Will be following up again as soon as the salon opens."
