"Online it said they close at 10 and they closed at 9:44pm and I rushed here for my daughter night pull ups and door was closed no sign calling district management tomorrow ....."

"Went to checkout today and was told by a very rude young woman that she would not ring me up and I would have to self checkout!!! A gentleman came in for cigs and she came up and waited on him and said it was gecause he bought cigs..then the self checkout wouldn't work and when she screamed across store for Brittany, who I guess is manager supposedly came up, complained because it hadn't worked today and I walked out and told them I was not being paid to do their work and I was completely humiliated"

"Dollar General legitimately surprised me today with a gross lack of service and communication. On April 11th, I had purchased a 32gb memory card(see pic and receipt) with the intent on using it for my camera. I changed my mind and today on April 25 I tried to return the UNOPENED item. I was told that I could not return it because "we don't take electronics back". I asked when this began or if there was a sign that said that and the clerk pulled a printed email from behind the counter and showed me. I asked, since my item was bought prior to that email would it be honored and was told no. Although it is merely a $15 memory card, couple things come to mind: 1) There is/was zero signage or indications that returns are not allowed on certain items. I can understand opened items being an issue, but a sealed product with proof of purchase and ID? Absurd 2)If you are concerned about fraudulent returns as was noted in the email sent to the store perhaps the team members should verify the items to the receipt, not penalize honest customers who legitimately want to bring a purchase back. 3) Retroactively enacting a policy that affects legitimate and honest customers will drive them elsewhere. Come on Dollar General, you can do better than this."

"I didn't see the manager I know there, Precious. And her absence was noted. Both employees working the register were not wearing masks and were not dressed professionally at all. The store was generally trashed. I go to the store all the time, and expect it to be better."
