"I love history & find Cemeteries are a great place to discover local history while traveling. Bonaventure Don shared a wealth of local stories about Savannah's interesting characters whom are interred at the Bonaventure Cemetery. The grounds, trees and headstones are all quite amazing. Don is extremely knowledgeable about the Cemetery and its occupants, and is able to weave it into some interesting true tales (all with a bit of dry humor.) We greatly enjoyed our visit & highly recommend Bonaventure Don's tour"

He has perfected his storytelling of the local history from the perspective of individuals who lived and made the history, which made our tour very special. It’s not fluff, it’s not tall tales, it’s factual. He's serious about his information he passes on in his stories, but he does it in a fun and engaging way. He has a reading list which he makes available for anyone who wants to take a deeper dive into people and events he covers through this tour. We had a wonderful experience.
