Frog & the Hen

"I wanted to try someplace I hadn't eaten before and ended up here. Parking was a bit hard to find, which was strange considering how empty the restaurant was. We had lunch at Frog & Hen on a Friday afternoon. We were seated right away and helped promptly. I ordered one of the spiked cold brews, it was ok, I wouldn't order it again. As for food, I got the chicken and waffles and my sister got the breakfast platter. We were both satisfied with our food. I really liked the seasoning on the chicken, the balance was perfect between sweet and salty."

"We decided to attend Sunday Brunch, they opened on time and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Peach Jalapeño & the Alabama White BBQ wings. The sauce on both was very delicious, but the wings could use a little salt before frying. The Fried Mac n Cheese bites were DELICIOUS!! Order two, one for yourself...no sharing allowed. The Hen Egg rolls were a little bland, but that sauce was bangin'. The chicken and waffles were good. The waffle was fluffy and crispy in the right places. The tenders could use a little more salt as well. The Banana Foster tasted like Banana Pudding, and if you're looking for some sweet, this is it!!! Finally, the breakfast platter w/turkey sausage was ok. The biscuit was a little dry, the eggs were fresh farm eggs, and were rich in flavor and color. Overall.... 4 out of 5, I will return to try different items on the menu."

"Miss Lena was so awesome. We came here from Maryland, and to be honest customer service is awful there. Georgia has been nothing short of amazing with the people here being so nice, everywhere we go. This place was no exception. If you’ve ever been to First Watch, this place has a similar vibe but the food is WAY better. Very fresh and very tasty. I have a small suggestion for the smoked salmon toast, since the salmon is plentiful (which I love!) maybe lessen the avocado so it’s not as mushy. But it was so tasty though and I loved the pickled onions and greens!! I would get it again for sure."

"If you're looking for weekend brunch and you haven't been here, you have nothing to loose. Reviews are going to mixed simply based off of experience. We came without reservation and were immediately seated upon requesting to sit outside. The service was relatively quick and the food was simply good. The deviled eggs are a great starter to the delicious options available here. The chicken here isn't over seasoned yet crispy and juicy. The waffles weren't the best I've had, but they complemented the chicken well! The mocha cold brew wasn't my thing either but I'm still glad be stopped by. We'll definitely be back."

"One of many trips to this delightful eatery. Great for families or brunch dates. In and outdoor seating during nice weather. Recommend getting a reservation during busy days. We love this as a drinks and snacks place too if we aren’t up for a big meal as all the appetizers are delicious! The pimento cheese plate and the cinnamon roll are our favorites!"
