"I ordered their loaded potato soup and grilled cheese to go...the restaurant smelled so good when I walked in, and was very cozy and inviting. I also loved every bite of my food, was so flavorful and delicious, and was so comforting on this cold dreary day! Would definitely return!"

"Stopped by here for lunch while driving thru Harlem. Cool atmosphere, located in a bed and breakfast style setting. Very polite staff. Kid friendly. Tables have paper coverings and our waitress encouraged our daughter to draw on the paper covering with the crayons they provided. That made us and our daughter very happy! I ordered a Philly cheese steak with house chips and my wife got the chicken finger basket. My Philly was very good! Really enjoyed it. My wife said that the chicken fingers were just ok, but she knew ahead of time that they were not home Meade chicken fingers. We got the acorn bites as an appetizer and they were extremely good! Definitely a lot more on the menu that we are going to try! Give this place a shot!"

"I've eaten here a few times but it's been a while since I have. Most of that is due to the pricing. Seems a bit steep for me to take the whole family. The food is good but just above average. There are some dishes that are surprisingly phenomenal such as their steak. I never expected a country kitchen to put out decent steaks such as this place has. The atmosphere is what I believe most people rave about when they tell others "you simply must eat at the Acorn". It's very much a country style place where everyone even strangers are exusingly nice to you. It's worth a try at a minimum."

"They saved me! I didn't know they made the fixings for my tea party bridal shower until my baker fell apart and I messaged Renee and they helped me with only a few days notice! Everyone was delighted with the look and taste of everything at the party! Thank you so much!!"
