Coastal Cottages by the Sea 603 Gulf Way, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

"I stayed at the Sunset Coastal Cottage from March to May, 2023. Cheryl, the landlord, is communicative from start to finish and makes the whole process easy and relaxed. The one bedroom unit is cozy and clean. I was alone, but the place would be perfect for a couple as well. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities (including your own gas grill). The air conditioning works well, but the doors and windows allow for an amazing cross breeze. There are laundromats nearby as the unit does not have a washer dryer. The location of the cottage can't be beat. With the included locals parking pass, there is no need to drive anywhere. Step out the front door to a great 3 mile walking loop all around the Pass a Grille community. Grab your mat and walk to beach yoga each morning. The pickleball courts are active and full of friendly people. There are free outdoor concerts, every night sunset celebrations, and the artisan's market. There are numerous shops and restaurants/bars on 8th Ave, and you can get a great selection of wine and beer at Island Life on 10th and Gulf. Shaners Market has a nice selection of meat and items for the grill. (It was recently sold, so that may have changed) Just hit Publix on your way to the beach and you'll be all set. Lastly, the beach! The access is directly across the street. Most of the time, the beach was more quiet right in front of the cottage. Early morning walks, mid day swims, and evening sunsets - it is all outside of your front door. And don't forget the dog beach, it is a short walk away as well. "We had the great pleasure of an extended stay in the Steps to Sand Coastal Cottage in beautiful Pass-a-Grille. True to its name, you are indeed steps to the beach! The unit itself is very spacious and comfortable, with 2 bedrooms, each with their own ensuite. The living room is a lovely area to relax and unwind. The kitchen is well equipped, with an eat-up counter, and there is also an adjacent dining room table. Check-in and check-out are effortless! Without a doubt, as others have mentioned, Cheryl and Hobbie (the hosts) are outstanding! I can't say enough about how wonderful they are!! They truly care about their guests, and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Pass-a-Grille is beautiful and very friendly, with good choices for food and drink, as well as wonderful shops such as Island Life on Pass-a-Grille Way. We enjoyed every second of our stay!"

"I’ll really loved this place so much! The location is unbeatable and the hosts are so helpful without being intrusive. The unit had everything you could need and was very comfortable. So many close places to walk to, the beach right there, it just can’t be beat."

"We had a great experience with our rental. Owners were very responsive and offered lots of local suggestions and tips. The property is right across from the water and we could see the sunset from the living room. Can't beat the location! Walking distance to lots of restaurants and an ice cream/coffee shop. The owners left lots of little extras that were part of the rental that made it even better. Will definitely try and stay here again."

"100% fantastic! Everything listed about the property was accurate and exceeded our expectations. From booking to arrival and checking out, the property owner was communicative with us to ensure that our stay was absolutely perfect. The beach cottage was exactly what my wife and I (and our two little schnauzers) were looking for on her birthday weekend. The cottage was roomy and clean with everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with clean dishes ready for use. The refrigerator freezer even had ice prepared and ice cold beer mugs ready to use! The beach was literally steps away from the cottage. You could hear the waves gently breaking on the beach every morning and night. You could even lounge on the front porch and watch the sunset! All the beach toy amenities were in superb condition, easily accessible, and perfect for just laying out on the beach, or hanging out on the porch. The prime location of the property was the icing on the cake to our stay. Less than a 2 min walk are some of the great restaurants in Pass-a-Grille , perfect for sunset drinks after our sunset walks with the dogs! Additionally, the majority of the restaurants are pet-friendly so our dogs were gladly welcomed. Overall, 5+ stars! Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your beach cottage! We wish we could stay longer, but we will be back soon!"
