"Evans bank is the only bank I've ever used where I had any issues. It's the worst bank ever. Actually it was only the Perinton branch that was the problem. They were totally rude, they didn't address a couple issues I had and it just snowballed into a situation where they closed my account, gave me a check for my balance, then a few weeks later I got a notice from a debt collector saying I owed Evans bank money. They had just given me the entire balance! The people at the perinton branch were horrible, but the Fairport location was awesome. How can that be? Oh wait, training. That was, I believe, the core of the problem. They had recently been bought it by an out of town bank."
"By far the worst online bill pay system I have ever encountered. Customer service??? Forget it no one ever answers and when you have to leave a message it disconnects you. Ever since they took over fairport it has been a disgrace. Looking into having another company take over the mortgage so I can be done with these people"
