"I wanted to get flowers for my wife for her birthday so I decided to try a local florist in order to support a neighborhood business. Sunshine flowers had solid reviews but I must say I am very disappointed. First I picked out a $99 arrangement that I thought was nice and immediately I get hit with the upsell, either standard, deluxe or premium. I decide that she is worth the premium. Then the come the other extras, balloons, animals etc. I decide on the $7 ballon. So after the upgrades, tax, and $10 service fee I'm at $149. Still I'm fine with this price but when they are delivered, what a disappointment. The web shows a beautiful bouquet in a really nice purple vase. The reality was wilted flowers in a white vase.(see pictures ) My flowers lasted 3 days but my son’s flowers, which they purchased at stop and shop for less than half price, lasted a week. I would never go back."
