"My spring 2022 order for a Record Herald lathe was handled efficiently and effectively. The lathe was packaged quite well and arrived in good condition. Set up was easy and in the mid-size lathe category, I think the Herald is the best. As use of the unit began, I noticed that one feature was functioning erratically. I contacted TWS 5 times; twice by email, three times by phone. I never received a response. Finally, I contacted Record's Tech Service department in England and their response was exemplary. Communication was timely, courteous and effective. With a little testing, we solved the problem via email and I'm a solid supporter of Record. Not sure what happened at TWS but since service is the key to keeping customers, I doubt I'll return for additional purchases."
