Kings Gate West Apartments

"I am on my 5th lease with Kings Gate and absolutely love it here. The property is consistently being improved with projects such as new roofing, garage upgrades/cleaning, new washers/driers, as well as upgrading the way the security doors are accessed. The women in the office are absolutely amazing and I have never felt unwelcomed when going to them about an issue I am having. On top of them being very quick about any concerns, they organize a pool party every year that includes food and a DJ for a nice community get together. Maintenance is very quick with getting repairs done, and just as quick when I lock myself out of my apartment for the 10th time this year. The maintenance crew does a great job with the lawn care between the mowing and cleanup. With the amount of open lawn space it is a great place for kids to run around and play, or have the family come out and hang outside for a bit. They even have swing sets set up for the kids to use. I have had no issues in the winter either as they are quick to keep the roads clear. Everything I need is basically walking distance from this complex, though I am the type of person to drive my vehicle 2 doors down. Township 5 is a 2 minute drive from here and has food, a movie theatre, a pet shop, and a Costco. About a 5 minute drive away is a Walmart and a Target. There are a ton of shops in such close proximity to this complex you almost never need to actually leave the area if you don't want to. And if you do, we are right up the road from 695 which turns into 690. They are going to be stuck with me here for quite a bit longer."

"I was visiting someone who lived in the complex and found dog poop quite literally EVERYWHERE! Dog feces can carry diseases. How disgusting. Says a lot about the complex..they don’t care at all. Children play here and they have to avoid dog poop everywhere. Sad. There is also black mold..not kidding you, EVERYWHERE. For the price they charge per month management NEEDS to do better. How pathetic. I remember these apartments were a great place to live at one point. Truly an embarrassment. what’s with all the positive reviews and responses from management? It’s like they ask certain tenants they know that will only leave a positive review to leave a review. Fake. Also, why is this the only complex to not have security cameras? You’re telling me the tenants pay so much in rent each month yet the complex doesn’t have security cameras? Do better for your tenants. This complex is disgusting. Edit: since the owner can make a response and not address the dog poop matter effectively. Dog poop carries a number of diseases like ecoli. It’s NOT ok to have property grounds covered in dog poop. There are CHILDREN living at the complex! CHILDREN. read that again. You put them in danger when you don’t address the situations. What about the elderly people that live their as well? They are high risk for infections. DO BETTER!"

"My family and I have lived here for over a year and one lease renewal. The office management I've had nothing but super positive experiences. They're wonderful and very personable. Tia, Robin and Rose are always willing to work with us. We've had some odd situations that were always worked out for the better. I strongly recommend looking into them. "Living at Kings Gate was a great experience for me. The management team is made up of three kind and understanding people who were instrumental in helping me "get on my feet". During my time living at Kings Gate, I met wonderful people and made great new friends. Its nicely maintained and I always felt safe walking about the property with my dogs at any time day or night. I highly recommend this complex to anyone of any age !"

"This is one of the nicest apartments I have ever lived in. Nice sized apartments with ample cupboard space in the kitchen. Love the radiant floor heating, it keeps the apartment toasty in the winter. Two a/c units to keep you cool in the summer. My family LOVES the pool, they swim just about every day. Our neighbors are all great! Cheryl and Rose in the office are always pleasant when I speak with them. I have had no maintenance issues since I moved here in January, so I have not met maintenance crew. I see them around the complex they all seam like good people! I highly recommend Kingsgate West to anyone looking for a new home!"
