"There is no neighborhood watch. We have a fat old lady that likes to chase the police and get herself into any kind of trouble she can. I watched her almost die sneaking into someone else's apartment behind an armed sheriff into a dangerous situation just yesterday. She's going to get herself killed doing that but, That's just one of many mentally ill people that inhabit this place. The management will try to send maintenance to break into your home. There have been multiple reports of robberies from them so, personal surveillance equipment and a healthy relationship with law enforcement is a MUST!!!! They're advertising their office down by Allen meadows but, they're actually the dumpy buildings in the middle of the town. The actual address is 208 N. main street but they don't want you to know that until AFTER you spent $250"

"I love living here and do my best to keep it a friendly place to live. I welcome new tenants when possible and run the unofficial neighborhood watch. My favorite thing to say is "Never a dull moment at Parklane Apartments" but even with the occasional craziness I will live here for a long time. November 6, 2023 After reading some of the other reviews I knew I had to update mine. I still love living here, Mary and the Maintenance team are great. To address another review, regarding the trash, since they pick up twice a week the area has been much better. Some of the mess is lazy tenants that have the kids take the trash down and they just leave it. Some of the photos posted are older ones and some aren't even from Parklane. To address some of the other photos and comments about shovels in doorways, they appear to be staged but I wouldn't be surprised if the kids did it. One comment stated that cable isn't included, basic cable and internet are included in the apartments but if you want more channels you have to pay seperate. Lastly, and the one that upsets me is the comment about the damage to an apartment building and even shows a photo, to the poster, try getting all the facts...it took time to do the repairs because the person who hit the building's insurance company wasn't being cooperative. The tenant who lived there wasn't there most of the time because of unrelated health issues. He was either in the hospital or rehab and when we knew he was coming home the repairs were made. I know many tenants that are very happy living here so to those who aren't, move."

"I have to first say that I had wonderful experience with two amazing and very professional maintenance men at this property. One being Jamie and the other gentlemen I met when he came to clean out my dryer vents. I come from a family that was in carpentry built houses laid floors and also was in realestate. These men showed me respect professionalism and was extreamly knowledgable. Thank You, You two gentlemen are great men going places. I on the other hand am not at all a fan of the man who came down and told me he was going paint over my black mold, who I believe is the supervisor. You should know better to paint over black mold my dear. Thank you for your hard working efforts and your professionalism."

"I’ve paid a application fee a few months ago and was told my name was on the waiting list. They told me to call back in a few months to check the status of my application. When i called back i was told that my name was never on the waiting list. I’ve been calling them back for months now to get an update on my application. I kept getting the run around, after they changed their system. I was then told that after 90 days my application has expired and that i have to pay another application fee in order for me to be placed on the waiting list again. Never again, will i ever apply to this company. The staff has horrible customer service and they are very unorganized and very unprofessional."

"rating is negative 10, but that's not an option. Place sucks. photos say it all. ,*notice photos*( someone plowed into building so they leave it like that with tenants still living there, trash tossed everywhere, squatters, 6 adults living in a 2 bedroom apartment.shovels blocking entry way because maintenance just leaves it there, etc .. terrible management, bad maintenance.). Don't let them lie, cable is not included, they will charge you no matter what."
