"First time hiking up a mountain with the family. It was an easy hike up and down, some parkimg and there were others hiking too."

"Not easy - fairly steep - out and back about 3 hours if you're taking your time, enjoying the views - hikes to top where red trail meets the white trail."

"Beautiful trail. It has great views at various parts just like mount Beacon but is a much less crowded and more enjoyable hike IMO. Good variation between uphill stretches and flatter parts."

"Beautiful, we took the red trail and then the white trail. After the Lambs Hill summit and to get to a lovely panoramic view that was marked on our Gaia GPS app, and then descended a different trail. Very quiet trail, only 5 cars or so in the parking lot on a cool, cloudy day Sunday in Mid November. Was slippy with the leaves and lots of rocks, steep at times, but an amazing time. Exploring Beacon after was lots of fun"

"Wow is the best way I can describe the trails at Fishkill Ridge. I fell in love with this place from the moment I put my boots on the ground. I will say that if you decide to make your way up to THE MT. BEACON EIGHT MEMORIAL than you should be prepared for a decently tough hike. It is definitely worth the time, sweat and energy that it takes to get there. Once you make it past there trust me and keep going on ip and take advantage of all that the mountain had to offer. There isn’t much more gorgeous around than when you start going higher and higher up and soak up the seclusion that you will earn along your hike. There are a bunch of different trail ways here as well."
