"My wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here. The manager Adele and her staff were so considerate. For our first time at a bed and breakfast it was nothing short of amazing. I recommend the Romance is in the Air package. The food was amazing and they catered to our vegan and vegetarian palates. All the food was made from scratch and produce grown on site. The rooms very immaculately clean and very antique. If you're looking for a home away from home here it is."

"A wonderful B&B. The house is charming, well appointed, and well cared for. The staff is friendly and attentive, but stay out of your way. The breakfasts were the highlight of our trip. Delicious! And there are the cute dogs. The one (minor) negative is that the hot tub jets in the Burrell suite went off quite noisily for a few seconds around 10 pm. This didn't bother us, but if it had happened later in the night it certainly would have wakened us. Highly recommended."

"The 1840 Inn exceeded all our expectations! The service, comfy beds, victorian decorated rooms and gourmet dining for breakfast was better than any 5 start hotel. The onsite manager, and her staff, made our stay extra special in every way. From the gourmet homemade food served at breakfast (accommodating vegan gluten free diets)) to dining on white table cloth, crystal and china made us feel like royalty! Adele was so personable, kind, friendly we felt right at home. We can't say enough about how they made our stay extra special and catered to our needs with delight.We loved the special goodies she would make for our 4:00 tea/coffee time. We will look forward to coming back to this one of a kind treatment!"

"We recently stayed at 1840 Inn on the Main and can’t say enough about this great B&B. The grounds and flower beds are meticulous. The common areas neat and clean and filled with tons of thoughtful period furniture pieces and art work. The guest rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, premium bedding/towels, and spacious tidy bathrooms. There’s several porches with plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy a complimentary sweet treat with coffee and tea in the afternoon or evening.
