"Very typical relatively inexpensive roadside motel. I’ve stayed in a lot worse and a lot better. Dated and tired and in need of a major makeover, as a sign in the lobby indicates is coming. When I was checking in the TV in the lobby had a show on with a explicit sex scene blaring. Thank goodness I didn’t have my kids."

"This is not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but it is the absolute best value I've ever found in a hotel. The room is okay, but the staff is great. The hotel is pet friendly, and it backs right up to a lake. The view outside of my room is fantastic, and the large grassy area is great for my dog. If you're not a princess and you're looking for a reasonable place to stay, this place cannot be beaten"

"I would leave negative stars if I could. We are Wyndham Loyalty Platinum members and the service and state our room was in is below any Wyndham or any other hotel we have ever experienced. Our stay was supposed to be Friday September 9 - Sunday September 10. When we got to our checkin on Friday the front desk/reception area smelled like bug spray, the receptionist tried to play it off like it was a “pumpkin room refresher” it was not. We are reasonable and dismissed it because she is doing her job the best she can for the building and industry she works in and she was trying to clean the best she could for how run down the place is. We were given room 216 which is just above the reception/breakfast area. When we got to the room we checked for bedbugs and lifted the bed skirts to see if it was cleaned. We found plastic and paper garbage indicating no one vacuumed or cleaned the room and just remade the bed and placed clean towels in the room. The beds were horrible and the entire 6-8 feet of flooring between the closest bed and bathroom creaked when walking on it. Upon waking up in the morning we saw tons of gray speckles on the pillow in the second bed and did not realize at first they were bugs that fell from the spiderweb they had a huge fat brown spider on the ceiling above it. I tried to hop in the shower to wash my hair that usually take 5 minutes to wash half of the shower head had nothing coming out of it because of the calcium buildup not being cleaned and the water pressure was still poor. With all these issues we went down to the reception area about 8:15am on Saturday to complain and the brunet haired woman at the front desk asked why we didn’t want to stay in the room for a second night. We ran through the list of issues and when we mentioned the floor her response was “I heard a lot of noise but didn’t know what it was.” She mentioned she didn’t know how to issue a refund for the second night and with all the issues she is putting the room number in for maintenance repairs and that the manager “Korie” would be in no later than 8:30 and would call us immediately to help with a refund she entered our number into the system with a note to call. We waited until 9:30 to call the hotel and “Dave” answered the phone and said Korie was on top of it and currently at Lowe’s and would call us as soon as he was in. About 2pm we still had no phone call so we stopped in the hotel. It was at that time Dave said “Korie is home sick.” We asked how could he have been at Lowe’s this morning when you answered the phone and now he’s home sick. Then Dave said we could have been put in another room - that wasn’t even offered to us in the morning or all day we had to search for a room as there were 2 weddings and a Triathlon all weekend and by the time they offered another room we already paid for a room at a different hotel. On Sunday while at an event we spoke to someone else that stayed on the first floor and she noticed the room window was opened all day. Here we are 4 day later and no call from Korie or anyone else to rectify the situation."

"This hotel suited my needs perfectly. I drove round-trip from Maine to Colorado and stayed here on the first and last nights of my drive. The hotel was clean, they accommodated my two dogs, there was a self-serve car wash near by, a Wegman's across the street (swoon), and gas stations and restaurants nearby. It's about 10 miles from the New York State Thruway, but it is in a pretty town, so it was worth the detour. The bed and especially the pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was juice, Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches, cereal, fruit, and bread/bagels. Perfectly fine. Plus they had both a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Very pleased with both nights, and the dogs had plenty of grassy areas to walk."

"I do not know who hires these people at the front desk but we paid over $500 for 4 nights and not 1 person that works there has said Hello, good morning! Nothing! They stare at you and are constantly watching TV in the lobby and a dog behind the counter! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Only because we did not feel welcomed at all!!! Guy behind the front counter stepped out to "hit" his bowl! That bowl got more attention than your damn customers! I will definitely spread the word in this place!!!Hire new people who know how to be friendly! Please!!!!"
