"I always like visiting this small, cozy spot with geographically very diverse wines, which seem to be from smaller, specialized producers. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are well versed on every product in their store, including the diverse distillates. Great spot!"

"I absolutely love this place. I recently moved to NYC, and the staff here have got to be the friendliest people in the city! The sign outside says to come in and ask them about wine because they love to talk about it. And they aren't kidding! Scott and Michelle are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Scott makes the best recommendations! He seriously knocks it out of the park every time. The wine he recommended last time was a hit with my friends- one of whom rarely even drinks wine! I also really enjoy their emails. You can tell they take pride in their work and enjoy being there. I'm so glad I live nearby. Can't recommend this place enough!"

"I’ve recently moved from NorCal, and I’ve found it’s slightly challenging to find a place where wine is stored properly. I have found at most places there’s a 50/50 chance the wine is going to have turned from not being stored right. I come to Amsterdam Wine Co. weekly, and I have bought everything from Cab to champagne. I have never had a bottles that was not stored properly. It’s always a good sign when you walk into a wine store and you immediately feel the chill in the air. Plus they have a temperature controlled wine section, and great global and domestic wine selections. Everyone I have spoken to here is extremely knowledgeable about wine, and they are a joy to be around. This is the only place I buy wine from anymore, because quality control matters when it comes to wine."
