"Last year, I ordered a bottle of Ravenswood Rye from Post Wine & Spirits online store. I called to confirm the order before I left since I live an hour away. The person at the store confirmed the bottle was ready to pick up. When I got there the gentleman at the register gave me the bag with the bottle of rye. Unfortunately, it was the wrong bottle it was Journeyman Distillery's Last Feather Rye. When I showed him the order receipt from the website and let him know this was a different rye, he just shrugged it off like no big deal. I told him I called ahead and came from an hour away and he didn't care or offer an apology or discount. Beware of anything you buy online from this place and good luck when you get there! Response to the owner: Thank you for the reply but unfortunately it is too little too late. The person I spoke to before I came in gave me the wrong info and your employee that handled this when I got there didn't help. I live too far away in the Hudson Valley to drive out to LI for any discount to be worth it. I bought a bottle of white (unaged) rye when I was in the store that day. Your employee should've discounted that but didn't. By the time I get there I'm looking at $40 for gas and tolls not to mention my time."

"I've been coming here for years for all my alcoholic beverage needs, whether it is Rum, Wine, or other random things. This store is very, very good. They have really good selection of wines and spirits with reasonable prices. The one thing that took me by surprise was a small fridge of Asian drinks, something that is not usually present in most places I've gone to. I will be coming back as soon as I can spare some money."
