"Favorite place to buy liquor when I come back to Oswego. Always a pleasant experience. Good variety as well which I enjoy since I'm always trying new stuff. Young lady working there is very friendly and is knowledgeable about the liquor selection. I was looking to try a new whiskey and I had a great time listening to a bunch of recommendations and information. Couldn't decide so I bought two when I was originally going to buy just one."
"I came here last Friday and the woman who checked my ID was very skeptical of it because it says "Not for REAL ID Act Purposes" at the top. I'm a TN resident and I understand this is probably an ID feature my state has that's not common when checking NY IDs or those of neighboring states. However, the woman gave me a little bit of attitude as if she had never heard of the REAL ID act before (considering you have to check IDs to sell alcohol, surely you have heard of the REAL ID Act by now?) I explained it says that on my state's ID because it has not yet been updated to be complaint with the federal REAL ID which is required by May 2025. She then said, "huh, never heard of that before" and her tone was rude. I was seriously wondering if she thought that "Not for REAL ID Act Purposes" meant it wasn't a legitimate ID. It wasn't a big deal because she still sold me the alcohol (keep in mind I'm in my mid-20s and don't look like a kid), but I'm not likely to return after that. Thought I'd post this in case this has happened to anyone else."
"Good variety of wines at reasonable prices. The staff is always helpful and nice! They have a new loyalty point of sale system where you can earn points towards future discounts for us "frequent flyers". Lol"
