"Spacious double bed suite. Lots of broken pieces in room lamps, shower, and shower door faucet bathroom cold water. It's not something I expected at this caliber of establishment. I will say there is a lack of attention to detail. Rooms need more throw pillows and better linens. The bed was not the most comfortable but did have good nights sleep. Quick responses from housekeeping when we had to call. The front desk evening person did not answer the phone. I had to call 3 times to get help. There was no literature in the room for wifi password and breakfast hours or buffet hours. It's definitely a place my family will be staying again when we are in town. I have stayed at many places on Long Island this by far the best. Wish the pool was indoor and a fitness room."

"We used the Fox Hollow wedding venue for our wedding and many guests came from out of state. We used the hotel for ourselves and our guests. The hotel was very nice - beautiful rooms. Good breakfast and we rented out the outdoor area by the bar for our rehearsal dinner and after party for the wedding. Drinks and food were good and service was great. I also used one of the conference rooms to do hair and makeup and it worked out great. Breakfast arrived early. Highly recommend for an easy hotel for your wedding, especially if you’re using the wedding venue."

"Incredible location for a wedding. One of the best wedding venues I've ever been to, if not THE best. I didn't stay in a room so I can't rate them. The service was impeccable and the beauty of the place inside and out is unmatched."

"Excellent service and attentive staff. The rooms could use a little upgrading. Little things like moldy calking on the showers edges doesn't make sense when you charge $300+ for rooms. Also, the handicap accessibility from one building to the event center forces challenged walkers to go the extra distance. A ramp where minor steps are would be golden. Would definitely visit again. Every staff member I confronted was excellent! EVERY!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel on Long Island(booked through Expedia), and while it's one of the nicer hotels on Long Island, there are some significant issues that need attention. My biggest complaint was the uncomfortable, rock-hard mattresses that made getting a good night's sleep nearly impossible. The front desk staff was moderately friendly, although not overly welcoming. James, in particular, seemed annoyed by comments or requests. Our room showed serious signs of wear and tear, including moldy baseboards, peeling wallpaper, crooked lampshades, frayed bath towels, a squealing toilet, small and uncomfortable pillows, and a loud A/C that constantly turned on and off, making sleep difficult, especially on those wooden-plank-like mattresses. The rooms feel old and in need of renovation. Despite the room's heavily worn condition, I must commend the housekeeping staff for doing a great job each day, and we appreciated their efforts. Overall, this hotel has potential, but it needs some serious renovations and improvement in customer service to match its reputation as one of the nicer options on Long Island."
