"My husband booked this trip for us. This was our 3rd fishing trip to Lake Ontario / Salmon River / Pulaski NY but our first trip with Black Jack Charters, Captain Matt and first mate Brian (who is also a captain in his own right). This was by far our best experience yet and we'll definitely be back and will recommend him to others we know. We heard about him from a friend who had had a great experience with him, so we booked the trip and went. Captain Matt has a private log cabin for accommodations (Outdoorsman Lodge), within an easy drive to grocery stores, shops, restaurants and the boat dock. We booked his log cabin for 2 nights and the 5 am fishing trip on Lake Ontario. The log cabin was adorable and has everything you need including air conditioning, wifi, tv, comfortable beds and a little kitchen and full bath, plus a large brand new outdoor deck with a grill and picnic table and fire pit area too. Captain Matt was great with communications and was prepared for us when we arrived at his boat at 5 am and we were off to a great day of fishing. SO HAPPY TO REPORT THAT MY HUSBAND CAUGHT HIS LIMIT OF FISH (2 large steel heads and a large king salmon) AND I CAUGHT 2 ALSO (2 large steel heads). First Mate Brian was great setting the lines and he cleaned and fileted our fish for us too. This was the best fishing expedition we've had and everything was flawless from start to finish. We'll highly recommend Black Jack Charters and the Outdoorsman Lodge log cabin - all in all the best deal in Pulaski for fishing. Call Captain Matt, you'll be glad you did!"

"What a great place to stay! A nice-size cabin on a large property. It has everything you might need for a weekend of hiking, fishing or just to get away. Central air, bbq grill, stove, fire pit, washer/dryer, TV's, and Wi-Fi. And lots of beds between downstairs and upstairs. The cabin was very clean when we checked in. The location is ideal. A few minutes away from one of the many Salmon River fishing locations. We recommend checking out the Salmon River Falls Unique Area. It's a short but steep hike with great views of the waterfall. Lake Ontario is nearby and in town there are plenty of restaurant options and grocery stores. We stayed here in mid-September and will definitely book again. The host is knowledgeable of the area and answered all of our questions."

"I can't wait to go again! I do not fish or hunt but this charming little cabin was the perfect, peaceful setting for a mini getaway. The place was immaculate and furnished with everything necessary to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed making s'mores at the firepit under a magnificent star filled sky. Convenient to drive to town for groceries and dining out. Also close to Lake Ontario and Salmon River Falls."
