"Rude hostess. Walked in with my family and we were looked at like we were second class citizens. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were informed that it would be a 90 minute wait and there were empty tables everywhere. Needles to say, we didn't stay. Not a welcoming environment. If you're a yuppie, this place is for you."

"I can’t save enough about how wonderful the restaurant was. My wife and I were celebrating our 19th anniversary and a friend recommended it to us. We started off with the fried calamari, and it was the best I have ever eaten. We each had a different salad, and they also were great. Even the salad dressings seemed to be made in house. My wife had the stuffed haddock which was stuffed with artichokes, spinach, tomatoes, olives, served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. She absolutely loved everything about it. I had the roasted duck breast, served with risotto and broccoli. All I can say is tender, juicy and delicious. The risotto was creamy and cheesy, and the broccoli was cooked to perfection. We topped it off with a piece of caramel cheese cake with fresh raspberries. Couldn’t ask for better."
"Great location. Very clean room but no air conditioner in-room. Cold food, terrible service, took forever, prices are insane. no air conditioner in the restaurant. It was raining outside so we had to cram inside. It was like a sweatbox . It definitely was NOT worth the $200 + tip we spent."
"My wife & I celebrated our 44th anniversary on 7/27/23. We were seated water front. My wife had the filet medium & I had the rack of lamb medium rate. Both meals were prepared as ordered & were served hot & were fantastic. Our server, Dannie, was pleasant & attentive. THE PLUS: because Rainbow Shores is located on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario, they share in the world’s #1 sunsets….!!!"
