"My experience with Dr. Rotman is always a pleasure. He does his best to diagnose and treat whatever symptoms that complicate me. His staff is also wonderful. There is a office full of nurses that make sure your visit is brief and comfortable. But I had a serious problem with Dr. Garriga, the anesthesiologist and a Dr. Pike who performed a cysto surgery for a urethral stricture. I was under the assumption that I would be put to sleep for this procedure but Dr. Garriga informed me that I wouldn't be getting any anesthesia because of my weight and from my snoring in the waiting room (he joked) he assumed that I have sleep apnea. I informed the Dr. that I am slightly overweight but I've had this surgery twice before and there is no way that Dr. Pike can clear the blockage in my urethra successfully without me feeling any pain. I was scared and I told Dr. Garriga that I wasn't going to do the surgery unless I was under anesthesia. He again reassured me that I wouldn't feel anything with the Lidocaine gel. He also informed me that I would be breathing in a tube that would relax me. It seemed like the entire nursing staff was sitting in the room watching and waiting for me to undress. I was extremely uncomfortable. Dr. Pike came in and inserted the gel, which was already uncomfortable. The next thing I know I was was biting down on the tube and growling and yelling loud. I felt every push and pull. The process took about 15 minutes. That was 15 extremely long minutes of pain and agony. When he was done my mouth was full of profanity and my lap was full of blood. I yelled for the nurses to allow my wife to come assist me in dressing. It was a nightmare!!!!!"

Amazing bedside manner, great personality, easy to talk to and be open without feeling nervous or judged and greatly knowledgable in his field. The phlebotomist, Jeanae, was extremely kind and hit the vein first shot even though I wasn’t hydrated! She made the fear of needles and giving blood seem like a piece of cake!"
