"I recently went here for the first time and i was blown away by the selection of literally everything from lamps, to decor and furniture galore! My photo studio is all mid century decorated so i lost my mind here. My home is styled in a more boho -coastal way and i found amazing pieces that worked for my home too. All quality well made, sturdy pieces. The owner has great taste and goes out of his way to find the most unique and one of a kind or “impossible to find” vintage pieces. His store is a rare gem in Buffalo NY. Whether you are a mid century collector or someone who loves finding a new way to display plants you will have so much fun shopping at The Mad House!"
"Saw that they had something I liked online, they told me it was thousands of dollars, literally bought the same thing from a marketplace sale in the past for 1/16 of the price for a couple hundred over a couple of thousand, when I was honest with them about them being over priced and ripping people off on their stuff they sell. They blocked me, will never support them and hope to warn others about it as well, they buy stuff for cheap and sell for super over priced, I get they're an antique shop but I've been apart of antique shops for a long time. Most are reasonably priced and don't try to completely rip you off. Sorry not sorry. Maybe if you didn't block me for being honest with you maybe I wouldn't be writing this review."
"never sell any of your Vintage or antiques items to them, they'll never offer you any of the price range you ask for. They only offer drug addict prices or low ball prices. I had a 1964 mint condition vintage box filled with lures old and new. They only offered me $30 for everything. Madhouse was like, I can find the same thing for $30. I told them, my lures alone is more than $200 never mind the tackle box. I asked for $150, and he came at me with a $30 offer, very insulting."
